The Kiss Quotient doesn’t have much going for it other than it’s autism representation and it being an #ownvoices book, making it very clear as to why I avoid all forms of contemporary romances. I am also all kinds of confused as to why people enjoyed this so much that it won the Goodreads Choice Awards for Best Romance. I wanted to love it and as I wrote down the points for this review, I realised I was forcing myself to give it a glowing review. I absolutely hated the movie and I wasn’t impressed with The Kiss Quotient either. If I had known that The Kiss Quotient was based on Pretty Woman, I would not have touched it with a ten-foot pole.
